Encoding video from DVD

I'm looking for some free software (preferably without malware or spyware) that allows me to encode my DVD's to video and get the same video quality (preferably the same encoding). So far all the encoders I've tried try to re-encode it in a format I either have to specify or it takes poor guesses at, or encode in real-time. Since I have about 100 DVD's, it isn't worth my time or effort to guess the encoding or wait for it to encode.

What are some free software that will automatically detect the encoding and rip it for me faster than real-time?

That some are new to video work so where to go over why it takes so much computer horsepower? I'm going to not write one word about that and note a few titles I use.

1. HANDBRAKE
2. DVD FLICK

i used leawo dvd ripper,this dvd ripper is easy to use,also it can rip css-protected dvd.it works well.
