AOL.com/Chrome, can't open an e-mail

In the last 2-3 weeks, intermittently when using AOL.com to view my e-mail, everything looks good until I click on an e-mail to open it. It goes to the next screen that you would expect, but nothing appears. Where the e-mail would be, it's blank. At that point I can't open any e-mails--I have to reload and go to Old Mail to save "as new: whatever I had tried to open. If I close Chrome and start again, the problem persists. Eventually, it will start to behave properly again, but I don't know what triggers that. Any suggestions?

I don't have any trouble accessing my e-mail account, just opening the e-mails. I use Windows 7.

Did you try other browsers? And it would be up to AOL to test their stuff with Chrome.

That is, why would you think anything is wrong with your PC?

AOL has it's own interface & there's Firefox too.

AOL has always had its own different way of doing things. They have their own software for accessing them if you want to use it, as Bob points out, there's IE, and you could also try Firefox.

AOL.com e-mail and Chrome

I used AOL software ever since they began, but stopped using it for the most part two years ago because it takes up way too much RAM. Same with IE. My old computer just couldn't handle them anymore. I have a new computer now, but got used to the Chrome/AOL.com combo and prefer it. I've never had any problem accessing my e-mail through AOL.com via Chrome until the last few weeks. So I figure something has changed with either Chrome or AOL.com. If it doesn't improve, I'll give Firefox a try.
