I've heard mentions here and there to email clients that protect your privacy, but it's hard to determine if any of them are actually good.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not concerned with encrypting or anything like that, I'm not a spy, but GMail's collection and reading of all of my emails kind of creeps me out. Maybe they're not using them now, but having all of my emails collected in a database somewhere for future rifling through unnerves me a bit.
Maybe I just don't know how email works, but are there any that just let you send and receive emails without spying on you? I assume data mining is something I'll have to accept with all of them, but I'd prefer it to not be a massive collection of all of my personalized information.
Thanks!
