To R Profitt. I've tried all the suggestions in Yahoo Mail but nothing has helped. I haven't changed anything so why should I suddenly get this problem? I've doubled checked and settings still show that files should be saved to download as they always have been. I can't understand why I can't upload attachments.
Rules change?

For example I can't upload .EXE files with gmail. I can't guess what changed here. That is I could guess but with over a few hundred reasons I have to wait for folk to write more.
A recent find was that Skype change and folk often think "what does that have to do with my problem?"

Just put in a lengthy call to the BTYahoo help desk and they sorted it for me. I'm not sure what was done, but the problem has been resolved.

They took remote control of my laptop and tweaked lots of things and I can't remember what they actuall did in the end. They actually did something in the settings of my email account, but spent so long because they wanted to make sure it wasn't a browser issue. As I only use Firefox they installed IE and then spent ages downloading Java and Adobe (which I already use for Firefox). I'm just thankful it's been sorted.
