I have an email *.cvs file containing my customers first

name and email address. I would like to send a personalized message to each one automatically. Is there an easy way of doing this with a standard gmail, Mac or MSN program? Each email would contain the same subject and body information and I only have to change the email address and salutation. My customer list contains about 500 different names. Will I have any problems with SPAM blockers? Any help would be appreciated.

I've yet to accomplish this without using my programming skills so I'm going with no. There are email campaign companies that do all this work for you (PBS for example uses Constant Contact) so the choice looks to be to learn the software or have it done.

As to the SPAM blockers that's only getting worse so tread lightly and don't send them too much or you may run afoul of that. Some folk get upset that there seems to be no rules about this area and I can't help un-upset those folk as the rules are a mystery except for one. Don't bulk email.

But you have to do that with your software and debug it. There are folk you can hire to do that but most are amazed at the rates.

Then again I tend to DIY a lot. Just installed a new water heater and avoided 1,000 bucks cost by doing it myself. This may be a good time to learn this stuff.
