Thunderbird - RSS problem

Hi,
i have just subscribed to some RSS feeds in Thunderbird.
Thunderbird is showing the summary of my feeds even when the option is not selected.
How do i make Thunderbird show the full article?

I've never used RSS, so I know little about it.

But correct me if I am wrong.

This RSS feed subscription is to Sci/Tech Google News. Since it is Google News it does not surprise me that the summary shows a Google link to the full article.

Click the link, go to the full article. Is that not how it is supposed to work?

What happens when you subscribe to other RSS subscriptions?
