E-mail, chat, & VoIP forum: Can't send photos in Windows mail (photo bombing family)

are you sending the pictures? bitmaps usually blow away after a try or two.

I send all my pictures in jpeg form. Resize them for emails. Please send me a picture. I send you a private message via your profile.

The settings in Outlook Express,

tool/options/security/internet zone

uncheck do not allow attachments

uncheck block images

you settings should be

tools/options/compisition/send options/send message in both plain text and html

click ok.

I was considering the possibility of send them as a "zip". I guess that's been ruled out by this link. I had been attempting to seen them 2 MB (as suggested by Windows Mail, help) or less, still no go. This could be a server problem at the receiving end. I'm using AT&T DSL. I can send them too myself just fine with no problems at all.

I really do not wish to instruct those that I'm sending photos too the proper methods to recieve them. This seems very rude and pretentous.

Perhaps I'll just need to stop sending photos to them but I really do not want to compromise. In fact I'd really would like to go to the next level and send movies (2MB or less) as well.

Frankly this doesn't make much sense. I recieve Emails daily and I'm sure other do as well filled with photos with zero problems.

The problem maybe the email services that the others are using. Yahoo mail is not accepting them. I have Yahoo mail service but use Windows Mail instead. I took a look at it today and the emails were filled with letters and numbers and were broken into many parts. I can send pictures though it but not through Windows Mail first. I may not be able to send photos to the others at all they have differing mail services. I do think also that some of them have there settings incorrectly set but hate to suggest they look or take my suggestions. We'll see.

I have been sending photos through Yahoo and they seam to be getting through, before I was sending them directly from Window Mail within my OS and they failed. Now some are getting through but I have to check with some others before I'm certain. It appears to be a mail server/email software compatibility problem.
