E-mail, chat, & VoIP forum: unable to open wmv e-mail attachment

All you've got to do: merge them and give the resulting file a .wmv extension. If the merge is the exact inverse of the split, this should work.

It's not an automatic action at all to merge several files into one, be it if they are all attached to one mail or each one to a different mail. So either you did it yourself (manually) or somebody (maybe you?) had 'programmed' it somehow. As long as you don't tell (and possibly don't know) how it was done, I don't think you can get any advice on how to setup your computer to do it again.

I get a few attachments ( WMV) But, I can't open it, can some one try to helpme? thanks

If your computer does not support opening a wmv file, maybe you have to install a programm to read it. My computer did not open and play wmv files, too. Then I downloaded vlc media player and now it works. The vlc media player is able to read most of the more or less common media files, so it should support everything you want to open. Plus it is easy and free to download.
