Macromedia Director 5 project not workin on Win7 with 64 bit

Hi,
I'm working on getting a Macromedia Director 5 project work on Win7 with 64 bit. I recieve a mistake that the file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running... Is there a solution except for XP Mode or virtual PC. It is not possible to ask all custumers to create a virtual PC or download the XP mode opion and run the application by it. I have already tried running it as compatible to XP and as administrator.

Thx for the quick response.

I'm sorry I haven't explained my project.
My big task is to be involved in re-writint the whole product and that will take long. Meanwhile some custumer want's to use the old product which was written long ago on Macromedia Director 5 and is working on all computers except for win7 with 64 bit - the newest computers.
The custumer plans to buy many pieces of the product for many computers, so it is not realistic to create a virtual PC or download the XP mode opion and run the application by it, on every computer.

This is why I'm searching to find a way to make it work.

See if the new version lets you use the old project.

Keep in mind I'm a programmer of many things and when a tool gets old, you do replace it or rewrite your app.
