Hello , i'm 19 and i'm starting my own graphic design business and i want to start off small because i'm on a strict budget i need a printer to print out business cards , flyers , invitations button etc and i want the printer to be able to print on those high gloss uv papers i have a budget of about $100-$150 can anyone help me out with some printers thanks also if you guys can even give me some more ideas of what i can start off with seeing as i'm 19 maybeguide me somewhat with some tips

There are many good printers out there.

You might lose it if you tried to fine "the one." My only thought was that the UV item seemed a bit odd. That sounds as something a class room may have covered about items that age. Yes you can add UV coatings and such with a spray can but no one so far has fretted about that on a business card.

Start with a photo printer. Look at what you use today and over the years. Which one did you like?
