Re: How to get 2 different JPEG pictures to show on my scr
IrfanView IrfanView IrfanView . . . !
Just make sure that the Options>Properties>Misc 1
"Only 1 instance of IrfanView is active" is NOT set.
Make sure that your Associations for JPGs is set to IrfanView.
Then just use Windows Explorer (or whatever you need) to select your multiple picture files, and open (possibly just press Enter).
That will open the multiple pictures in separate IrfanView windows.
You will now have those multiple windows open, and possibly other windows from whatever else you were running.
Since you have WinXP, here is how to just get the DESIRED windows in view:
along the taskbar you will see buttons of all your active (opened or minimized) windows,
just click one of the IrfanView buttons,
hold down the "Ctrl" keyboard button,
now click all of the other IrfanView buttons (while still holding down Ctrl),
(you can let Ctrl go now)
and now Right-click over one of those selected buttons.
Select the "Tile Horizontally" (or Vertically)
I don't believe that "trick" works in prior versions of Windows. But I know it works in WinXP.
