Browsers forum: IE 6 changes look arbitrarily....help!

IE is just bad. It loads tons of spyware/malware, and is a big security risk. You may want to switch to another browser, such as Mozilla or Netscape.

If you want to keep using IE, get some spyware removers. Microsoft's spyware remover doesn't work. It's just as bad as their IE. Try Adaware or Spybot S&D. Both are free.

Just remember to run it every time before you shuting down the computer. A lot of malware adds itself to startup list. Next time you boot up, they'll be started and running, and will be more difficult to remove.

After posting a thanks for the suggestions I hit the F 11 key and it toggles me back and forth among the two browser views I described. What's the deal? Is this normal? Is there a setting for this? Thanks for any info....curious.

Thanks for the tips. I do have Ad Aware and also Spy Substract which I run frequently. I always get 30 or so items each day or two. This spyware stuff is insidious. Is there any harm in having multiple spyware detectors? In fact I now recall that I have System Mechanic but the spyware detector on it seems weak. It never has detected anything. BTW what is with the F 11 key....how do I use it with a browser problem? Thanks again. Any additional responses are welcomed....I'm learning from this forum.
