Can't type in some text boxes in IE

Hi there, I hope that someone can help me out with this one.

In some text boxes in IE, such as my webmail if color and graphics are enabled, or even though a site named Neopets mail that my daughter uses while the text box displays, you can't type anything into it. In my webmail, if I switch to plain from color and graphics I can then type, but would like to find out why this is happening in the first place and what I can do to fix it.

I have run my virus checker and Spybot and haven't found anything.

And again, without an example URL I can't check if they did this. But now you can examine the page to see if they did...
