Browsers forum: Browser Taken over by allien ? Help

I had a similar problem - I used CWShredder and never had the homepage hijacked again.

I finally found a solution for this, if your computer is still suffering with oml.net do the following: -

visit www.microsoft.com and download "Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1" or directly visit: -

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en

Once installed and running, make sure to block any Unknown "IE BHOs" in the Advanced Tools-Internet Explorer. Also restore the default settings in "IE Settings" in Advanced Tools-Internet Explorer.

Run a complete scan and you will finally get rid of this spyware once and for all.

It worked for me.
