IP hider screwed up default IP for browsers, need help

I've been using HideIPEasy for a couple of months to access a certain site I was banned from several years ago. Until now it's worked fine, however today my browsers stopped working with my default IP address. When trying to access any given website, it gets stuck at "sending request" (I presume that's the phase, my browser language isn't English so I can't tell for certain) and gives me a DNS error, this happens in Google Chrome where I kept using the fake IP but also in Nightly and IE 8 which I've never used with the fake IP.
The fake IP still lets me operate my browsers but I'd much rather get my default IP working again since browsing with it is a lot quicker. I've tried uninstalling HideIPEasy but that didn't fix it, upon reinstallation the fake IP still lets me use the browsers but my default one still doesn't.
If anyone knows how I'm to fix this, it would be much appreciated. My operating system is Windows 7.
