Chrome 23.0.1271.97 stop page auto forward

Hi-

The problem I'm experiencing is that when I go to a web page, say abcd.com, I get automatically forwarded to another web page, say 1234.com, before abcd.com is finished loading. It does this within the same tab. So I was wondering if there is there a way, either a setting or plugin, to stop web pages from forwarding you to another page automatically?

Seems it's called REDIRECT.

It's usually not your PC that does that as you read prior posts and articles you can find at https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&as_q=stop+web+page+forwarding

Some settings are explored and you can add the word CHROME to see if chrome settings can help.
