Hi, Google Chrome was not starting up so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I've tried this multiple times but every time at the end of the installation I get this error:
"chrome.exe - Bad Image"
C:\Users\HpUser\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\18.0.1025.168\chrome.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
I've tried to do a bit of research online and I've tried the suggested solution of running a registry cleaner. I have downloaded and run several different ones already (CCleaner, Registry Easy, Reg Cure).
I have also deleted the entire 18.0.1025.168 folder. But I can see it gets recreated during the installation process and the same error pops up again.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks v.much.
