"Convert to Adobe PDF" with IE 9 and Acrobat 9 Standard

Hello,
For a time, I had no problems using the "Convert to Adobe PDF" function in IE 9. A few weeks ago, I started receiving an error message, and I am no longer able to "Convert to Adobe PDF." I have tried to "Convert to Adobe PDF" in IE 9 - 64-bit and 32-bit, but neither work.

My OS is Windows 7. My IE is version 9.0.8112.16421. My Adobe Acrobat is Standard 9.

I have posted in Adobe and IE forums as well. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat several times. I have tried to "Convert to PDF" with Acrobat Standard 9.5.1, 9.5.0, 9.2.0, and 9.0.0. I have also tried to download different versions of IE, but the previous versions don't seem to be compatible with Windows 7.

In IE 9, when I right-click and choose "Convert to Adobe PDF," I receive the following error message:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 11.
Char: 3.
Error: Permission denied.
Code: 0.
URL: res://C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEFavClient.dll/AcroIECapture.html
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? YES OR NO

Script errors

I'm taking a guess here. When IE comes across Script Errors it may halt and wait for you to fix the errors, (debug the errors). But script errors are out of the hands of us users as they are problems with the web sites themselves.

IE allows us to disable script debugging, in Tools, (the gear wheel icon), > Internet Options > Advanced tab then tick the two options in the list for "Disable Script Debugging, (IE and Others)".

See if that works for you.

Thank you. I looked at the IE settings per your suggestion, and both script debugging options were already disabled.

Someone replied to my post in an Adobe forum, and told me that IE 9 is not supported by Acrobat 9.

Therefore, my question is now whether or not it is possible to use the "Convert to Adobe PDF" function to convert a webpage to PDF file on my system. I have Windows 7 64-bit. Is there any combination of an internet browser (IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and Acrobat 9 Standard that will allow me to use "Convert to Adobe PDF"? Must I spend $200 and upgrade to Acrobat 10?

Print Drive Route

I am not 100% certain that I understand the "print drive" route, but I believe I have tried it in Chrome, and the webpage format undergoes a change when I have used it. Thank you.
