Firefox 9.01 and Yahoo mail

Just recently updated to Firefox 9.01. Everything seems fine, EXCEPT when I try to access Yahoo mail. Every time I go to Yahoo Mail, Firefox freezes and must be restarted. Am I missing an extension or a plug in?
Anyone else with this problem?

I have FF 9.01 as well and have just signed in to my own Yahoo.co.uk email account without problem.

I doubt the .uk version is any different, so I am unsure where the problem lies.

Try another browser first to see if you can get access through that. If so, then it's looking like FF is at fault and would look at your FF Add-ons to see if there is anything that might be causing this.

I can access Yahoo Mail just fine using Chrome. No idea which add- ons might be causing the problem in Firefox. I'll try restarting FF without any add-ons, unless some else has a better idea.

flash plugin up-to-date

Keep your flash plugin up-to-date. I use the gecko based browse avant browser and has ever came across the same problem. It could be a conflict between firefox and flash plugin.

You used the Avant browser and that fails as well. Is that what you meant? If so, in what way does it fail?

But Chrome works. Then its a browser issue and not a Yahoo issue.

Why did you say, "Keep your flash plugin up-to-date"? Is that relevant to this problem you are having?

Problem resolved

If it is helpful to anyone else, I resolved the problem with FF 9.01 freezing on Yahoo Mail.
The add-on "CLEARLY" was the culprit. It is now disabled. I had been using it since FF 3.8 without any issues. Will try to update down the line.
