yep, it's IE8 again...

just uploaded it, got most of the irritating stuff cleaned off it, but I cannot remove the Favorites Icon on the tab bar, or the apparently mandatory Google address bar to the right of the regular address bar...

Also, is there a way to reduce or eliminate that annoying 'window blind' effect when I close out programs and go back to the desktop?

Is there any way to enlarge the teeny text in the address bar?

And lastly, is IE8 responsible for the slow choppy text as I type? Sometimes i have to wait for it to catch up with me, it's like typing with the old First Choice program, lol. It seems okay anywhere but on forums.
