I have been a big fan of Firefox for a number of years, but when the 3.5 versions came out, I noticed a big difference in the way it ran. Pages became painfully slow to load, some pages on a social site I go to don't load properly listing friends as undefined undefined, and random crashes. I have been to a number of boards for help (I thought it was something on my computer I needed to fix), tried numerous spyware programs (super antispyware, spybot s&d, malwarebytes and I run spyware blaster) checked for rogue drivers, cleaned up my start ups....I think you get the picture.......to absolutely NO avail. I finally dumped the newer version and reverted back to 3.0.15 at the risk of compromising the security and it does run much better. I still have issues with it just "hanging" every 2 to 5 minutes, especially when I try to watch a video, from anywhere between 4 and 30 seconds. I never had this problem before. Someone posted somewhere (sorry, I can't remember where) that there was a scripting error in Firefox and I have some pages that when I try to shut them down, it hangs then I get a message something about the script not allowing it to close and do I want to stop the script. I've recommended Firefox to everyone I know, but this issue drives me crazy. If you know of a fix, I'd be ever so glad to hear and try it
