When I right click on the accelerator arrow icon on a webpage, a drop down window appears listing accelerators, (or programs), that are available for me to use to perform actions such as: emailing something from that webpage, or viewing a map of a location mentioned on that webpage, or translating something on that webpage, etc. I did not choose or download the accelerators (programs) in this drop down list, they are there by default. If I want to use programs other than the ones listed by default, I can go to the IE8 website and download the accelerators for the programs I want to use. They will then appear in that drop down list. The accelerator for emailing using Windows Live is in the list by default; the accelerator for emailing using Yahoo Mail is not. Accelerators are available on the IE8 website for me to download for other email programs including AOL, Hotmail, and Gmail, but not for Yahoo mail. So my question is, and I believe this is also what Walt was asking, is there an accelerator available for download for Yahoo Mail or is there another way to add Yahoo Mail to that drop down list? I did check out that link you provided for the Yahoo! Optimized version of IE8, but I dont want all the extras that come with that download.
Thank you. Jeana
