Pando & ask toolbars Empty cant remove them?

Hello: This problem I have had for 3 months and cannot get a solution.
I used Pando for a short while a few months back and did not like it,
so I uninstalled it along with the pando ask toolbar from the add/remove list. but when I click on an empty spot on my IE7/firefox browser, they are both still on there, if I put a check mark next to them empty toolbars appear.
How can I get rid of both these on the drop down menu? Thanks

Nothing seems to go wrong if you keep them unchecked. I wouldn't care too much.

View > Toolbars?

Other than what Kees has already said, and noting that you have used Add/Remove Programs to remove these, have you also looked at View > Toolbars in both IE and Firefox to see if the toolbars are unchecked?

Or is that what you mean when you say "if I put a check mark next to them empty toolbars appear"?

Try to see if whether that Pando program has an IE plugin that is messing around your browser..
