Browsers (IE & FF) can't connect! Help me!

My connection is just fine, I can connect to online games (ex. Gunbound, MU online)and updates (virus definitions) but my browsers can't connect! I wanted to unload my firewall (Zone alarm) but still the same thing happens! For now I'm using my mom's laptop for the browsers.

My first thought is to download and run Winsock XP Fix to repair your internet connection, but some questions come up:
1.) What operating system are you running? (Winsock XP Fix only supports Windows XP.)
2.) What is the error message that appears, assuming there is one?
3.) Can you connect while using Safe Mode with Networking? (Assuming you're running XP, press F8 during boot and select that option from the menu.)

2. On IE "Page can'y be displayed. on FF the message is close to this "Firefox can't connect to the servers roseboards.levelupgames.ph"
3. No, my DSL is a bit strange, it needs to dial-up before it can connect.
Can you connect to ''any'' sites?

Is that site significant in that it is the only one you cannot connect to?
What about the usuals, like http://www.google.com or http://www.cnet.com ?

The two browsers can't connect on all websites, something may be blocking them :\
Here's a thought. DSL can be locked to one machine.

My first DSL modem was via ethernet but required odd PPPoE software to dial in and more. They also locked it to one PC so you couldn't swap in another PC and use that.
I cured this by installing a router and setting the router's MAC address to the machine that worked.
This is not an offer to explain network card MAC addresses or the like but given the clues you presented and the details you haven't it's my guess.
