Online Surveys? Do they work?

I am wondering if anyone knows anything about online surveys...are any legit or are they all scams? Has anyone actually gotten paid to do online surveys, and if so, what company/website can you direct me to so that I can get started?

Those are just spam. I do answer a few surveys from professional mags that I subscribe to and one was nice enough to give up a amazon gift. But if you count the decades that means it's quite rare.

I subscribe to a couple of online surveys, and in the years I have participated I have recieved one mouse mat!

I tend to find that as soon as I answer the "How old are you" question nowadays, I get the, "Thank you but you do not fit the profile" message! happy
