Browsers forum: Internet Explorer Stops Working after 10 minutes

It's just with my music- sound-- I hear nothing-
no sound from my computer after a certain period of short time-- just stops-- i play a video game no sound or music...what gives?? lets help each other out.

I am having the exact same problem as you described so well. I have tried everything execept a total rebuild. HELP!

I am having the similar problem. It is some kind of virus/spyware/trojen a very bad one. STOP using the computer or logging into any sites. I tried all kind of virus/spyware programs and nothing is helping. I found only one thing 'network.exe' trojen on my computer. It stopped working couple of days and still don't know how to fix it. I reinstalled norton (as I was not able to get the latest updates) but no use.

Is anyone able to fix the problem.

There seems to be a major problem going around lately and no one seems to be able to fix it...
I have had this problem for several months now and run 4 computers networked together, all running Windows XP. Two are wired to the network and 1 laptop and 1 PC are wireless. The laptop, the wireless PC and 1 wired PC are working with no problems at all. Unfortunately, the 4th is a whole 'nother story.

Aside from having the browsers stop working after about 15 SECONDS (I'm jealous of those of you who get a whole 10 minutes) and everything else such as Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger still going fine, when I have this 4th computer hooked up to the network, none of the other computers can access the internet or network and I just get "page cannot be displayed" errors. In addition, this usually also resets my router automatically.

After about 1 month of trying to figure out what to do, I called Dell support and they said it sounded like a virus...something I hadn't thought of before or seen in various posts online. So I ran Norton Antivirus - it found nothing. Then I saw a post online about AVG Antivirus. Installed that, ran it and found the bug.

The computer worked beautifully for about 3 days BUT then went back to the same old problems again with no rhyme or reason. So I tried AVG again, it found nothing, am now trying out Computer Associates EZ Antivirus software and although it finds a few bugs that doesn't seem to help. I've also tried various spyware softwares and just about everything else I can think of and get no where.

Anyone who knows how to resolve this is a real life saver and good luck to you out there with the same issues!!!

I have also run into lots of issues with file sharing software creating this sort of problem. The computer works great and then once a file sharing program is started, the connection drops and the server resets itself. This happens repeatedly every couple of minutes. Perhaps this is the cause for some other people's problem. I was running sharing software for months with no problem whatsoever but now it seems that anytime i have one on at all the only thing which functions properly is it, messenger services and that's about it. No internet browsers respond except for the first 5-10 seconds and then everything resets and going into the same cycle.

You will need to remove or block VSDATANT.SYS

You will find it with ''search file'' or in c: Windows/System32

another file that might be causing you a problem is

parvdm.sys. Make a back up before blocking or deleting.

use on-line armor to scan and block these files
