98 Se & Linsys WPC54 G Aircard

I have a Thinkpad A21 with-pentium 3-800 Ghz-Windows 98 SE and a Linksys WPC54 G Aircard-cardbus. The Linksys says connected to the internet at the library but the 98 SE says "cannot connect to the internet". I do not have a OS CD for backup or reboot.
Any suggestions? Thanks alot for your time.

Having worked such an issue recently, the Windows 98 se CD was NOT OPTIONAL as I had to remove and reinstall the TCPIP network component.

If you don't have the CD, it's time to try UBUNTU.

While it's still in beat, ReactOS might be for those that can't use Ubuntu.
