MSVCRT40.dll deleted by accident! HELP!

Hi all,

was trying to be helpful in cleaning some muck off the folk's PC and deleted this file apparently. Have done a file search but can't locate it, and am afraid to reinstall the windows 98 program, though they do seem to have the necessary disks. I don't want to make it any worse! Can I copy this file from some resource on the net? Have done a search but can't find a simple answer to this problem. Any suggestions for a remedy would be greatly appreciated.
