i installed ubuntu in a separate Hd beside my windows Hd.when i m starting my pc it starts the windows i dont get any chance to choose the ubuntu till i remove that Hd but i want to choose at the beginning.whats the solution please anyone can help?

I don't see what boot manager you chose to use so I can't offer much. If you installed any OS without a boot manager then what you noted should happen.

LILO

LILO is rarely used today but if you installed UBUNTU to a drive as I suspect with the Windows Drive removed then what you noted should happen. Fix? Put all the drives you want into the PC then install UBUNTU and tell it to install the boot manager to the boot drive.

As I would be duplicating the web on this, I won't detail that install.

BIOS not set correctly

You need to change your BIOS boot order so it tries to start from the other hard disk first.

When the computer starts up, the BIOS looks at the nominated hard disk and runs any bootloader on there. It looks like your Ubuntu bootloader is on the Ubuntu disk, and your BIOS is looking on the Windows disk. If you set the BIOS to look at the Ubuntu disk, you'll be able to boot Ubuntu; and the Ubuntu bootloader is smart enough to see Windows and allow you to boot into that too.
