Linux forum: USB wireless mouse freeze problem

USB wireless mouse freeze problem

I am running Mandriva One Linux 2011 and have found that Gnome desktop
will let a Logitech USB vx Nano wireless mouse work ok however KDE desktop
will not.



This is unusual as both are running the same OS.


The system is a 64 bit ASUS laptop.

The cursor is also jumping alot.

The old days would just say an IRQ conflict is at play.

I own a few too many nano logitech mice.

And have never seen this.

However I am encountering more and more machines in dire need of basic maintenance. That is, the cleaning of the vents and heatsinks.
