BitCart Shopping Cart Warning

I have ALS, mostly paralysed, and was in desperate search of a suitable shopping cart solution to continue the family business when I no longer could. The reason I mention this is to clarify I was looking for a solid, easy to use, feature rich shopping cart with good support. After all, when your income is dependent on the software working, you want to make sure there's quick resolution.
I really wanted for this cart to be the one. After having gone through a plethora of others and finding something or other that made it too hard to be viable in the future, I had decided on BitCart standalone option. The interface was user friendly, template range and quality was better than the average, and they offered a 45 day money back guarantee (no questions asked).
<div> I experimented with the trial version and seemed okay, so I went ahead and paid the $599 for the Professional version (remembering their promised 45 day 100% money back guarantee).
Well, things took a turn to the worst almost immediately. The software wouldn't install correctly, so had to contact support...but they were on holiday. Had to wait almost a week, to get this resolved. A red flag went up but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. (But in hindsight, a company that has no staff to support their e-commerce software on public holidays is a capricious move).
The software was buggy, and had no access to code. Therefore, anything that went wrong, you have no choice but to go through support, and they take their time helping you. Features that should of been available or rather functional in the software, weren't. They then said it was extra to have them activated (they obviously forgot to document that prior to purchase). </div>
<div>Tired of the bugs in the software, the dismal support, features being turned off asking for more money and then turning them on for me as if they were doing me a favour. Seriously, if you buy a standalone product, you expect it's complete and functional, period. One thing after another until I just had enough. So, as you can gather, I asked for my refund (which I remind you is heavily advertised in their site)
You guessed it...NO REFUND. </div>
Support stopped emailing, no replies to my emails, except Ryan Moe, the manager, who assured he'd follow it up and respond. It's been a month and no response. Incompetent, unethical, fraudulent company. Enter at your own risk!
I've since moved to a hosted option with another company. The contrast is so vast to the bitcart company that I feel I have to warn others. Hope this helps those, like me, navigating the maze of carts, to avoid these guys like the plague, unless you want to lose your money.
Regards,
Scammed and pissed
