I am preparing designing the English website about flash maker tools. And i have referred some local websites in China, such as yuzhesoft, xilisoft and sothink etc. They all have many pictures and banners, but many foreign websites concerning flash tools have few pictures or no banners. I am very confused. Who can give me some tips on whether to add many banners, product packages and other pictures on the website? Thanks a lot.

Try usability analysis

What do you think your users will find more useful? You can go either way and test your site with some usability testing tools like http://userfly.com/ and then make changes accordingly. I myself prefer sites that are not cluttered with too mayn banners and flashy animations.

hi,
first will you be able to give me the address of your website. of course too many pictures or banners will make a things wrong nowadays.
i think you should put banner or picture whenever it is necessary.
or else pictures or advertisement should be related to your website.

Well its depends on your requirements and your customer requirements.
It changes on basis or requirements whether you need more graphics(banners) or not according o you customer needs.
