any hosting provider that asks you to open ports on your computer or network, I'd be very concerned as this should not be required for the average user.
A quick search shows that this may be in order to use a "Web Disk" feature. Is that what this is for?
I would recommend using FTP.

The numbers don't match. And when I use FTP I often discover that PASSIVE MODE (see google) works.

for testing purposes and I can say that I still recommend using FTP. It's really not that much more convenient -- especially considering that you have to open ports.
