CMS Based ecommerce Price ?

I have been asked by a new client to design and create a CMS based E-commerce site. What do you think a realistic price is for such a job?

it all depends on how you gonna do the job, if u using something u r an expert in and using a cms like wordpress / izzonet / bigcommerce , which is inexpensive and easy , i wouldnt charge more than $1500 for the time it takes me (8-10 hours)

If you're so new to it that you can't make a good estimate of the hours needed, it's clear that you're not the right person to do it, I think.

It ranges from 500 USD to 2500 USD based on quality of website and CMS, and the one who is developing it.
