Likely a competitor posting this, or a confused buyer. Most likely he didn't bother to check the WHOIS to see that the domain was already taken from long before, and he probably had a mis-type in his cart. The software at HostingDude.com is not capable of "stealing" domain names from people, and they would have no reason to do so -- they WANT to sell you the domain.
Another possibility is this:
When someone puts a domain name in their cart, that name is locked for about 10 minutes until purchase can be completed. The user probably logged back in a different session while the name was still locked. Had he waited a couple of minutes, he would have gotten the name.
Note that he didn't post the domain name he supposedly "lost". If he did, we could research its history and know exactly which of the above scenarios took place.
I have LONG experience with this Domain Name Registrar, HostingDude.com, and I know how their software works. They're the best service at the lowest price. Best of all worlds. This is almost universally recognized by their customers who've registered over 1.5 Million domain names with them, and the 10's of Thousands of people whose sites they host.
