Greets,
I am building an index list.
There is a heading, color=#FFFF00
Each line has a title and a url address, color=#D5D500

I tried a <div> <span style="color: #D5D500">
line of stuff
line of stuff
line of stuff
</span> <div>

But the text color doesn't change.
Pls, need help.

btw: I generally use notepad to prepare my Posts,
and then copy/paste finished product into Post box.
But this forum won't allow me to 'paste'.
That's a real BooHiss!
Lot's of extra work for a slow typer like me.
How come Forum is this way?

because the code is correct. I'm guessing there is additional code on that page that's affecting this.

Thank you, I was one among the issue headers,

but is that it will be hidden, I got that particluar lines hidden ,

but deleted the same ,

it works fine

which makes me think you have a list of links (at least that's what you should have_ - like so:

<ul>
<li><a href="http://somewhere.com">somewhere<a/></li>
<li><a href="http://somewhere.com">somewhere<a/></li>
<li><a href="http://somewhere.com">somewhere<a/></li>
</ul>

To change the color, use the CSS on you a:link.
