IE 6 changes without warning

Every now and then my IE 6 browser will change to another look...hard to explain but in upper right the min, max and X are lighter and a windows logo flag is there. The icons et. al. are all on one line (bar?) and the "lock the toolbars" option is not available. I need help identifying this and stopping it from happening. It just happened today and I restored back to yesterday and my old browser is back...for now. Any thoughts?

IE 6 Hijack

Download a program called spybot ,install it,and read tutorial, run and be sure to lock your IE while there. Also download Hijack This! install and run the program and take the log and post it to a site that is qualified to read it. One such site is : http://computercops.biz/downloads.html. Hope this helps. Thanks for the tips. I do have Ad Aware and also Spy Substract which I run frequently. I always get 30 or so items each day or so. This spyware stuff is incidious. Is there any harm in having multiple spyware detectors? In fact I now recall that I have System Mechanic but the spyware detector on it seems weak. It never has detected anything. BTW what is with the F 11 key....how do I use it with a browser problem? Thanks again. Any additional responses are welcomed....I'm learning from this forum.

F 11

After just posting my thnaks for responses and other questions I realize that the F 11 key toggles me between the two browser views I originally described. What's going on...is this a normak function....and are there settings for this? Curious.....

I use Mark. I also do a lot of weather radar watching during storm season for some friends where I live that are roofers and F5 refreshes the radar screen LOL.
