Belarc advisor - it's under SP3 !

Win XP Pro SP2

Belarc Advisor ver. 6.1f lists the following Windows Update patches under SP3:

KB834707
KB873339
KB885835
KB885836
KB885884
KB886185
KB887797

SP3 ?

there are some Microsoft Office patches/upgrades that are SP3 now, and it is likely that the next round of Windows XP patches will all be grouped together eventually into a Windows SP3.

They did this with SP2. Users running XP with SP1 would visit Windows Update and update their computers, and some references would be to SP2. It happened to me and confused me, happy

So, don't worry. It just shows you're uptodate.

Confused me too. If the patches are for Windows XP SP2, they should be listed under SP2, unless "SP" refers to different things at Windows XP OS and at the update patches. Maybe it is just a description by Belarc.

They're just flags intended more for internal MS use, that says this particular patch will be included into SP3 when it's released in probably a year or two.
