i want to stay signed in on windows messenger

i want to stay signed in on windows messenger.When i start the messenger it always asks me to sign in even though when i do i check the box 'sign me in automatically'.I want to avoid having to sign in every time i start messenger.Is there a way to do that?On yahoo messenger i don't have to sign in every time.Thank you

For example another day, another problem and we traced it to the privacy protection of the antivirus suite.

The poor owner could not bring themselves to go without that feature so they were forever stuck with this issue.

This may or may not be your issue but I hope it makes you think of the other causes.

I have windows messenger version 4.1. Someone suggested the latest which is 8.1 i think.If i try that do i have to remove my present version first?
