AVG Free Not Catching ielauncher.exe

My browsers have been slowing down. I had been using AVG Free for about 1 year. I decided to try my Internet Provider's Internet Security Suite. First I had to run an online scan. The online scan found 4 malware files. All 4 were ielauncher.exe. This did speed up my browsing a bit. Why didn't AVG Free catch these files?

Not one antivirus finds everything. I'd post this in the CNET AVG forum at http://forums.cnet.com/avg-forum/

Grif notes the usual second opinion scans at http://forums.cnet.com/7726-6132_102-5098912.html?tag=posts;msg5099421 but not one antivirus today catches everything.
