DR Download Manager

I run Windows XP Professional SP3.
Checking the exceptions in Windows Firewall I noticed three entries for "DR Download Manager". I have no idea about what it is, so I Googled the term but could find no clues. Does anyone know the answer, please? I want to decide whether to remove the firewall exception or leave it there.

Digital River Download Manager

Hi barry_e_m,

DR Download Manager is Digital River Download Manager. It is used for downloading ISO image for Windows or PC games. When you are downloading large files from the internet, especially on a wireless network, it is possible that your internet signal could drop momentarily or become interrupted. The Download Manager allows the download to resume exactly where it left off when a connection is lost, so that your download can complete successfully without losing any progress or having to restart your download over from the very beginning.
There are many software applications that are downloaded via DR Download Manager such as Microsoft Office or Windows 7 .ISO.
It is at your discretion if you would like to remove the firewall exception.
