google.com will not load but all other websites will

IE 8, google.com will not load. I can access gmail, yahoo, and every other website but google.com. I am running XP. Tried pinging google through command mode, 4 timed out tries. Tried looking up host file to see if blocked there and was not. tried uninstalling IE 8 and reinstalling. Tried installing Google Chrome, still will not load google.com. Tried registry cleaning, virus scanning, malwayre bytes, ccCleaner, hijack this, tddskiller and others. The only website that will not load is google. Please help

Did you ever solve this issue? My system is doing the same exact thing and i have scanned with many different anti malware and anti virus programs with no solution. Please let me know if you found a solution ti this issue.

Hi,

Try performing the following from a command prompt:
"TRACERT 87.125.87.99" and see where it fails.

I suspect you may have a DNS problem as, from what I can find, Google's IP would be 74.125.226.32.

In your IP configuration, (Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Sharing -> Chang Adapter Settings -> Double-click your connection -> Properties -> "Select Internet Protocol Version 4" and then click Properties. On the bottom half of the screen, select "Use the following DNS server address" and enter 4.2.2.4 in the first one and 208.67.220.220 for the second. These are two publicly accessible DNS servers which should be "clean". Save, close, reboot. Now try accessing Google. Also ping Google and see what IP is displayed.
