How to reset "columns" in Microsoft Word 2002

Hi. I have Microsoft Word 2002. I use Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002. When I was trying to create a document I went to Page Set Up and changed the format to 4 columns. I may have done something else accidentally but I don't know what since I'm not really proficient in all the functions of Word.
Now whenever I copy and paste anything from the internet, etc. it shows up in 4 columns. Also whenever I open Word it is set to type format in 4 columns. I can't figure out how to change it back to the original "full page". Or how to get rid of the columns. I also tried setting up different tabs, etc. I did try to reset to default settings but it didn't make any difference. Can you help me with this?
