Pictures in OE should be shown as attachements. So you should be able to see the attachments and save them on your hard disk.

If you sent me a private mail (just click on my name and then in my profile page on "e-mail") I'll get your email address, so I can reply with my email address, so you can forward such a message to me so I can have a look at it.

On the iPad see about AppleDouble as noted at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2032133?start=0&tstart=0

There are currently no plans to fix this issue. You will find folk that are still on OE6 but they will be find this along with other annoyances to continue and increase with regularity.

Spoke to my wife and she clarified the problem. Pictures are not supposed to appear, only the urls. The urls from smartphones (and maybe ipads) don't show up at all. The urls from pcs do show up.

There are simple, free to use replacements that work better. Try Thunderbird next.
