I am advised by my wife that while using my desk top computer sudden changes to the computer occurred, to wit:-

She suddenly had to click on an account before boot up could occur. She tried system restore to reverse the change, that failed but she got got a bluescreen with the message:-

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

BAD_POOL_CALLER

Technical Info. :-
*** Stop: 0x000000c2 (0x00000040, 0x00000000, 0x80000000, 0x0x00000078.

System Restore fails to respond after that incident. I checked for system errors and found the following.

System Error Category 102 Event 1003.
Event Viewer: Disk error detected on \Divice\Harddisk\1D during a page file operation.
Disk event ID 51
Application MSSOAP ID 16. There were 15 generic and client errors.
Error WSDL file failed to load.
Soap error one of the paramiters supplied is invalid.

The last program I installed on the system was Hallmark Card studio 2012 about 7 days prior to5th August 2012.. I noticed it always started up very slow.

I have no idea what the problem is and I do require assistance in sorting this problem out. I am not too savy with computer internals and this is beating me up.

Thanking you for you kind attention.

standeb.
