Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus Problems

I have an EVGA P55 FTW 200 Motherboard with an Intel Core i5 750 CPU with Corsair 4GBDDR3 dual channel Memory. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460. My sound card is an Creative Labs SB0790 PCI Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Sound Card. This system is housed in a Cooler Master HAF 922M ATX Mid-Tower case. Recently, I found it necessary to completely wipe and reformat my Western Digital WD5001AALS 500GB hard drive. Re-Installation of my Windows XP Home Edition which includes service pack 2 version 2002 went well. Re-Installation of my NVIDIA graphics software and drivers presented no problems. Inspection of my device Manager showed no yellow question marks. Only problem I found was that the IE 6 version would not work so ungraded to IE8 which solved the problem. I then upgraded to Windows XP SP3. Looking at my device manager I found 4 "Audio Device on high definition Audio Bus" errors under "other devices". I can uninstall XP SP3 and the problem goes away.
However how I have no sound from my on-board mother board and nothing I have tried has corrected the sound problem or the Device Manager errors - any suggestions?

Many of these new boards require us to install Microsoft's MSUAA. In some very specific order of motherboard drivers, MSUAA then the sound card driver.

I didn't find where you noted this annoying issue.
