how to fix cpu fan

I have an Emachines t5048 and I notice the fan within the pc is not spining as it should. When replacing the BIOS battery and start or boot pc as normally the fan is not spining, as the computer starts it spining just for a second stops and continues like there's and storage in current. Sometimes the computer comes on and I believe that's because the fan is not working to cool the chip inside or cpu " I think". Thanks

There are many models of such fans.

If you can't figure out which one at newegg.com, geeks.com, amazon.com then you take it to the shop to have them fix it.
