Windows XP forum: Help me please!

Help me please!

I have my hard drive put on my computer. After I boot up the computer and look up in My Computer. There is no icon in this kind of hard drive but when I run up the Setup and looked at the IDE Configuration, it says Detected. Please help me.

By the way, sorry for my wrong grammars. I'm not kinda good in English.

If so, head over to XP's Disk Management to see if it is recognised there. If so you may have to partition it and/or format it.

I can't do the partition. It says "Healthy (GPT Protective Partition)" but it's online.

Was this hdd from a Mac? If so, are you sure you want to go further with it? It might mean erasing the data on the disk and reformatting to Windows compatible format, eg Fat 32 or NTFS.

tray to do this steps which can show you all the drive in your computer
right click on (my computer) choose manage then from the window which will appear choose the second choice from the right that's all
