i am using dell inspiron 9300 with xp media centre edition 2005 sp3. now i am about to change the hard disk and need to download windows xp media centre edition 2005 iso image. please provide me the url or email me the link, on where i can download the setup images.

Microsoft has ended support for Windows XP and it is no longer available for download, if it ever was.

Your best bet is to see if eBay has any for sale.

What happened to your original Genuine Microsoft Windows XP CD?

Why not clone the old disk onto the new one? Much easier then a clean install of Windows, because you'll have all your applications, settings and data on the new disk.

Clonezilla and easeus disk copy are well known free programs to do it. http://downloadsquad.switched.com/2008/09/05/5-free-apps-to-clone-your-hard-drive/ mentions other ones.
So it's not only the easiest, but the cheapest solution also.

I just went through your query and MarkFlax is absolutely correct. Microsoft has stopped supporting XP media center edition 2005.
What best I can suggest you would be, if you have misplaced or lost your original CD and the system came with XP media center edition 2005. You can get in touch with the Dell sales team and check with them if the XP media center edition CD is available and the part # would be GR343.
