I am working with a PC running Windows XP SP3. This computer runs some special 3rd party software that requires me to disconnect/disable my tenda USB WiFi adapter while the software starts. Once the program loads I can plug it back in / enable WiFi adapter to reconnect to the wireless internet. Basically, I need to automate this process for when I reboot the PC remotely. I need to somehow disable WiFi network adapter for about 5 minutes while the PC starts to insure the 3rd party software has a chance to start, then have it reenable the network adapter. I figured i could use a batch file in the startup folder but don't know the necessary commands for disabling network adapter, waiting x minutes, then reenabling it.
